NEW SINGLE WITH ROMY OUT NOW ON HUMAN LEVEL

New version of THE ONE by ROMY

One of the most rewarding things about this rework project is how it celebrates not only the songs I’ve written but also the wonderful friendships I’ve made along the way through my music. I met Romy back in 2011 whilst I was touring W, the album that The One is from, and over the years we have watched each other grow through our music.

I remember visiting Rom and her wife, Vic Lentaigne, another incredible artist, back in early 2020 and listening to Rom’s sketches for her brilliant debut solo album ‘Midair’ and being moved to tears at their honesty and beauty. I think for both of us, music is how we got to be who we really are and how we found our community. The lyric ‘We Dance to Grow, we Grow to Give’ still resonates with me today, and I believe for both of us.

Romy’s passion for music and her talent for creating it blows me away and together with the amazing music producer Luca Perry, she managed to transcend the love longing in my original all those years ago into a new and joyous love song.
